Raf Simons Unveils New Calvin Klein Logo

It doesn’t seem that long ago when Raf Simon left Christian Dior and took the reigns at the Calvin Klein.
The designer has been quite busy lately. Just a few weeks before his first collection with Calvin Klein, Simons has unveiled a brand new logo for the brand.

Doing away with lower case lettering, in preference for all caps, the new logo isn’t a far cry from previous versions. Simons helped redesign the logo alongside art director and graphic designer, Peter Saville, who’s previously worked on album covers for the likes of Kanye West and his fashion clients have included Jil Sander, John Galliano and Stella McCartney.
The brand premiered the new mark on Instagram, describing the logo as “A return to the spirit of the original. An acknowledgment of the founder and foundations of the fashion house.”

In another effort to bring Calvin Klein to modern times and move Calvin Klein away from the underwear and denim market, Simons introduced Calvin Klein’s first made-to-measure custom clothing and accessories service, announced earlier this month and anticipated to launch on April 1st, 2017.
